Advice and support in event of dismissal

If you are dismissed from your work for production or financial reasons, you will receive re-employment support from the Päijät-Häme Employment Services during your notice period.
In the event of dismissal, the Päijät-Häme Employment Services will cooperate with your employer and personnel representatives and organise information events, for example, on customer relationships in Päijät-Häme Employment Services and services promoting employment. This is called change security. The aim is for you to find employment again as quickly as possible.
As a dismissed employee, you will be entitled to paid leave when you draw up an employment plan or participate in labour market training agreed upon in the plan, job seeking or re-employment training.
You are entitled to an employment plan already during the notice period. Activities and services that best promote your employment will be agreed upon in the employment plan. An employment plan will be drawn up after your employment relationship has ended at the latest.
As a job seeker, you can receive job offers suitable for you.
If you become unemployed when the period of notice ends, you can apply for unemployment security.
