Omaperhe is a knowledge bank for families, containing articles on topics such as starting a family, parenting, and different stages of a child's development.
Omaperhe’s service search and service recommendations guide users to national actors in family center work, wellbeing services counties, the City of Helsinki, municipalities, the third sector, and church services.

You can either browse the content or search for it. To browse, first select a category (family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, family life, or age groups 0–1, 1–6, 7–12, 13–17 years). Then, choose a theme to find a collection of articles on the topic. Select the article that interests you.
If you wish, you can choose a municipality to see services available in that area. If you do not select a municipality, you will be shown services available nationwide.

Omaperhe is a service channel that brings together the family centre related services provided by national actors, wellbeing services counties, the City of Helsinki, municipalities, the third sector and parishes.
